Tangerine Tango

The new 'it' color for 2012.

"Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it," Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute," said in a statement "Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy."
US Weekly

What do you think about it?
Could you?
How would you?  An accent perhaps?
There is a certain refreshment of color topped on neutrals.

I do like this Hermes inspired corner!
I'm curious, tell me.
Great looking jacket.
T Tango is not a color that compliments my skin tone so it will not be in my wardrobe.
How about it? Let me hear from you.

  1. It speaks to me.....

2011's Honeysuckle presented a challenged because Pink is not one of my favorite colors. When I wear it, I feel washed out.

Here's how I took charge and incorporated the color this past year.

  3. A client of mine had a wall painted this color a few years back & I fell in love with it then. Since that time I have looked for ways to use splashes of it to bring about a playful spirit to a room or project. Many people are hesitant to jump in at first because you either love it or not. So glad it's still around!

  7. Always been one of my favorite accent colors so this is exciting news for me. I finally dragged myself on to the pink band wagon but this is so much easier to incorporate into existing spaces. Merry Christmas, Renae. Mona
