Riding with the Wounded Warriors

As a patriotic Americans and cyclists, my girlfriend Susan (also a Boston marathon finisher!)
and I are riding 50 miles with some of our brave soldiers who have given of themselves for the freedoms we share in this country.

The Alliance Ride is a well designed 25 mile loop through the city of Alpharetta.  Those wanting a bigger challenge can take the course twice to race the half century distance of 50 miles.  The start of the race is fast and flat, and stays gently rolling for the remainder of the ride until you reach the last 2 miles.  You will break up any lactic acid build up for a final fun climb to the sprint finish line.

If you are in the area and out and about, please come by and show your support to our warriors.

  4. *** Am sending you BOTH the VERY BIGGEST THANKS, HUGS & most SINCERE BLESSINGS THAT I CAN!!! Your PERSONAL SUPPORT in this means SOOO MUCH MORE, than you may realize, to our incredible men and women who serve our country!!!

My husband left for VietNam at age 20, in 1967, just 3 months after our wedding, for his first tour as a young Army Infantry Lt. He fiiiiinally retired 38 years (& 28 moves for us!) later, as a 3-Star General and yes, my pride runs SO very deep, to have known & been involved with so many of these wonderful young people.... they truly ARE amazing and SELFLESS... We SHOULD and CAN be sooooo PROUD of them ALL, as well as SO VERY THANKFUL to their families for all of THEIR SACRIFICES...

ANYthing and EVERYthing that CAN be done for TODAY'S service folks SHOULD be done, & the Wounded Warriors Program is UNDOUBTEDLY one of the VERY BEST out there....

BLESS YOU BOTH, AGAIN, for your contribution!!! And, thank you!

    Most sincerely,
    Linda in AZ *
