Global Warming

Snowing in Atlanta...what?

Plus, there is much happening here this weekend with the International Gift and Home Furnishings Market at the Mart.

Yup, that global warming is gonna burn us all up.

I have very special plans to meet up with Rhoda (whom I have met in person once before) of Southern Hospitality, and her sister, then we will meet Jeanne Hyatt of Sophie Dahy Designs, who will be busy getting beautiful silk florals for her business.

Brooke of Velvet and Linen and I missed each other last time she and her husband Steve were in Atlanta, and we will find a time to say hello too! Steve was highlighted in Veranda magazine as a noted architect, read here.

It will be a crazy day as people from all over the US come to purchase for their stores. I can go anytime and do especially when there are not crowds, but tomorrow will be worth all the people to see some very special ones in person!

Since my driveway is steep, I parked on the street so I do not have to chance sliding down and coming to a stop who knows where.

Saturday is Eddie Ross's Tea Party and Framing Workshop at
Larson Juhl. It's free for bloggers and $10 to the general public, be sure to RSVP here.

  4. It is freezing! Plus, with the snow, no school for the kids on Friday, dashing my plans to meet with with new blog friends who are in town from all over the country.

It sounds like you are going to have a great weekend - can't wait to hear the report from the Eddie Ross event.

  6. Renae, I hate that we missed you at Market, but the ice truly was an issue. They had certain streets blocked off downtown around the Mart. I almost fell walking from the parking lot, and my daughter did fall sunday when we were leaving (not hurt!. We will be back again at some point, and I will call you!
