It's Good to be Green

Who says Emerald is THE color?

Annually Pantone declares a particular color
"Color of the Year".

Twice a year the company hosts, in a European capital, a secret meeting of representatives from various nations' color standards groups.
After two days of presentations and debate, they choose a color for the following year.  For example; the color for summer 2013 was chosen in London in the spring of 2012. (wiki)
'Emerald' is THE hue but there are so many beautiful greens out there.

How about adding some turquoise and other polished green stones in this beautiful cuff?

I'm not a 'trendy' decorator or 'dresser', but I could 'toss' a pillow or two.

In just the right space this wallpaper would be gorg.
What do you think...
...would you paint your walls green?
Love the harlequin floors in Yves St. Laurent's home.
The wallpaper framed in the moulding is beautiful.
I see what I gravitate towards.
Somehow to me, painted plastar walls are a wee bit
more appealing than painted wallboard.
Definitely.

Laquer.
Distressed.
Old world plastered and washed walls...beautiful.
 Eclectic mix...love the screen.
Those of you that know me know I love me some tufting!
I can see this blond zooming down the road in this!

So tell me...what do you think?

  4. I don't like emerald green, but I love the earthier shades of green like sage, olive and khaki. I'm planning on painting my living room one of those colours.

  5. Renae I was never a green fan; however always loved jewel tones. In the last couple of years I have added some green to my wardrobe. These images are perfect; I am thinking of some pillows as well!
