First...I must say that the tragedy in CT has deeply affected me. My heart has ached since I heard on Friday morning. I ask the Lord to surround these families with His love and comfort. So very sad.
I know I've been MIA. The winter 'head stuff' hit me hard and the bed was my favorite spot for a few days. Thankfully it only lasted a week and I think I'm back to 'normal'!
With all of the parties you are attending, taking a hostess gift is a must.
I went to a few of my favorite shops to gather some great ideas.
Huff Harrington Home is one of my all time favorites.
To me the best gifts are things that you yourself like and would like to add to your home.
Owners Ann and Meg have great eyes for the unique...
...and all things French.
Not too long ago they hosted a book signing by local entertaining author Danielle Rollins. A perfect gift for the 'hostess with the mostest!'
Not too far from Huff Harrington Home is Boxwoods, another of my favorite places to drool.
I have always loves these beautiful soap dishes.
I had to take a picture of this beautiful setting. I love those tall crystal candlesticks.
Oh I digressed on my hostess gifts...Mr. MD can wrap the pair of these candelabras! Gorgeous!
Up the road in downtown Woodstock, GA, is Pineapple Park.
Back to hostess gifts...love these crown candles.
Have you ever seen these papers? They are perfect for cheese plates or setting fun tables!
For you hostesses out there...this is a great setting!
Fun coasters.
How about a doorstop?
Just a little 'FYI' in taking gifts.
It's best NOT to arrive with flowers unless they are arranged and delivered early. Opening a door to a guest with a bouquet not matter how lovely takes the hostess away from her guests while she has to go and put them in a vase.
❤

ReplyDeleteIt was so good to hear from you. I had to go back and find a picture of your grandbaby... so cute! I wanted to be called Grammie, but Tate never called me that.
