Merengues and Mojitos
not that these go together,
but I love both!
Anything lemon I'm lovin'!
Years ago I worked in the party planning office of Commander's Palace in New Orleans.
They made the bestest meringue for some of their desserts. Did you know that's where 'Emeril' got his start?
Mojito...simple syrup, lime and mint.
So refreshing and hits that sweet spot!
Happy Weekend Y'all!

ReplyDeleteThere is always a pitcher of Mojito's available at our house in the summer...and after 1 or 2 I'm sure merengues would seem like a great idea!

ReplyDeleteGuess I need to buy a blow torch for the cupcakes. YUM.
ReplyDeleteRenae my daughter in law came with me last night to a Third Fridays Open House in some cute shops. There was a desert shop that had pies with the highest meringue I have EVER seen!
