White has so many different shades the effect is also so different depending on the surface .
White is basic and easy to transform by adding different asseccories in colours.
Very often I choose pale grey instead of white in my interior design, the daylight in Scandinavia is very bright in the summer and often to much white becomes rather hurtful for the eye. (white works well here in the winter)
And so serene! Yes it seems we all love white in all its glorious shades! I love the photos you chose. I could live in any one of those rooms very happily with no color but my clothes. Wait, they'd probably be white too!
Renae! This post is perfect as a visual "cooler". Just what I needed. Thank you for the very sweet comment on Lisa's blog. Right back at ya! You are a dear! Have a wonderful holiday. xo
So calm and peaceful, Renae! Love it!

Yes, fresh, crisp and cool--and plenty of clorox!
ReplyDeleteReally, you can't beat white linen in the southern summer heat? (oh, but no clorox on linen--it turns yellow!)
Hope you are doing well!

ReplyDeleteWhite is such a beautiful chameleon of a color...it can be everything to everyone!
ReplyDeleteI never noticed that with the clorox, though.
So peaceful. I would love to be in any of those rooms.
