What is Breast Cancer?
It is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast. It is considered a heterogeneous disease—differing by individual, age group, and even the kinds of cells within the tumors themselves. Obviously no woman wants to receive this diagnosis, but hearing the words "breast cancer" doesn't always mean an end. It can be the beginning of learning how to fight, getting the facts and finding hope.
So, for those of you in the fight, we are with you.
We pray for you and we are here to help get you through.
We pray for you and we are here to help get you through.
On the 17th of this month, I will be riding 62 miles in honor of the survivors
and in memory of those who fought bravely.

Renae, what a lovely post about such an awful disease. Thank you for your dedication and I will be with you in thought and prayer on the 17th - I have such respect for you and those who participate in walks, runs and rides in support of such good causes. I love our Relay for Life here and often think "how could anyone NOT be a part of something so great!?" It just makes me feel good to be a part of the effort - like I am doing my part to help!
ReplyDeleteWow, good for you!
ReplyDeleteIt takes real dedication to pull off something like a 62 mile ride. Very admirable.
I have to get the pink shirts prepared for all my boys...they like it preppy!
ReplyDeleteLove the football field.
Take care dear,
Ingela
Your new hot photo matches the fact that you must be fit with all the riding you do :)
